The expansion of Richardson International’s canola processing plant in Yorkton, Saskatchewan is truly impressive. It is doubling its annual processing capacity to 2.2 million metric tonnes of canola seed.

The facility will ensure local producers have access to efficient high-speed shipping and receiving services.

This addition to the plant supports Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan, that has among his objectives to reach 75% of locally grown canola being processed within the province, along with increasing agri-food exports to C$20bn and value-added revenue to C$10bn.
